Project 365 – Day 18<\/p>\n
Today 4 people committed their lives to Christ through baptism at our 11am service<\/a>.\u00a0 These are powerful and moving moments.\u00a0 It takes enormous courage to commit to anything privately, much less publicly.\u00a0 Commitment often falls by the wayside, as we all know too well.\u00a0 Think no further than how you may (or may not) be doing with recent New Years resolutions.\u00a0 Somewhat ironically, a key theme of today’s study touched on this.\u00a0 The prescription is to re-enlist; that is to say, each day we must re-enlist in those things that we are truly committed to.\u00a0 Give priority to those that really count, not letting other less important things creep in and assume a higher priority.<\/p>\n This has subsequently triggered two thoughts:\u00a0 1) May those who made the most important commitment of their lives today re-enlist this commitment each and every day, and\u00a0 2) I thank God that He is completely committed to us, never failing to deliver on His promises.<\/p>\n Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip.
