The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>John and Michelle, our good friends and fellow museum lovers, tag teamed with Kathy and me for\u00a0a Saturday double date at the Atlanta History Center. \u00a0It is a treasure. \u00a0There are wonderful exhibits of Atlanta&#8217;s history, including a tribute to the 1996 Olympic Games, an area dedicated to Atlanta&#8217;s own Bobby Jones and his illustrious golf career, and more. \u00a0But one of the true gems of the property is the Swan House, a mansion built by the Inman family. \u00a0Their wealth was created from the cotton industry. \u00a0The home was built in 1928. \u00a0It&#8217;s most recent fame comes from its appearances in <em>The Hunger Games: Catching Fire<\/em> and <em>The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2, <\/em>where it was filmed\u00a0as President Snow&#8217;s home<em>.<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0Scenes included both the exterior and a several interior\u00a0rooms, as well as the balcony where Snow spoke to a crowd gathered at the capitol.<\/p>\n<p>Everything came together for a fun, memorable outing on a beautiful spring day in the south.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2034\" style=\"width: 710px\"
