Shooting has been a rare commodity lately, but Saturday afternoon I spent a couple of hours walking around Athens, GA and the UGA campus in pursuit of a few photo opps. Lighting was too harsh for broad scenics, but small vignettes were plentiful. Getting the itch to shoot more. 🙂

More from my recent San Francisco trip. Exploring is the city is fun enough, but finding small vignettes of interest is icing on the cake. And of course, it’s almost impossible to post SF images without including another of the Golden Gate. 🙂

A recent business trip to San Francisco afforded a couple of walkabouts to capture unique perspectives. Lighting was less than spectacular, but SF is a city with many, many compelling subjects under any circumstance. Enjoy! More to come ….

John and Michelle, our good friends and fellow museum lovers, tag teamed with Kathy and me for a Saturday double date at the Atlanta History Center. It is a treasure. There are wonderful exhibits of Atlanta’s history, including a tribute to the 1996 Olympic Games, an area dedicated to Atlanta’s own Bobby Jones and his illustrious […]

This is one of THE coolest developments in Atlanta. What is currently known as Ponce City Market in the old Fourth Ward began in the 1860’s Ponce De Leon Springs due to the springs’ alleged nature to cure. In 1903 it became an amusement park, then a baseball park in 1907. Sears, Roebuck, and Company purchased […]

Re-posting two photos from years past in honor of the Paris terrorist attack victims. My heart and prayers go out to the families of those murdered, hurt, and terrorized by such cowardly and hateful acts. I am thankful to God for protecting my sister-in-law Dorine, and her sister Carol, who were there visiting.

Kathy and I LOVE visiting the High Museum. We try to make it a point to visit every quarter or so. It’s world class with a steady rotation of top exhibits, and this Saturday our good friends John and Michelle enticed us with an impromptu invite. Enjoy!

On a recent walkabout in a nearby garage, I tried my eye at capturing a variety of shadows and architectural lines. I am also continuing to work on a style that has a “realistic” film-like feel in terms of tones and tonal transitions.

Project 365 – Day 88 Today was a beautiful day. There was a chill in the air from a cold front, but the blue skies and blooming flowers reminded me that spring is almost here to stick around. We have a beautiful park, amphitheater, and store front area by the city hall. This afternoon I […]
