Project 365 – Day 101

Meet Amy and Chris!  They are a beautiful couple who has asked me to photograph their May wedding.  We’ve been capturing a few engagement images to use at the wedding, and this was a favorite of mine from today.  I have known Chris and his family since he was a small boy.  He is an outstanding young man, of whom I know his parents are extremely proud!

Amy and Chris are not only an amazingly cute, happy couple, but they are also incredibly grounded in their faith.  They live and met in Greece, each having moved there as missionaries.  We spent lunch together a couple of weeks ago, and I learned so much about refugees fleeing from Syria and Pakistan through Greece.  Amy, Chris, and others are sharing the love of Christ with these incredibly desperate people, giving them hope in a time of uncertainty and brutality.  I pray for a fun wedding, a joyful marriage, and for blessings as they resume their unselfish work in Greece this fall.
