Morning Hike – Slough Creek Trail
It’s only a few weeks after our Yellowstone trip (more details later), and I miss it so much. One of my favorite hikes was Slough Creek Trail (pronounced “Slew” Creek). It was the final hike of our trip, and it provided the perfect crescendo. We hiked around 3 miles into the trail and 3 miles back. Spring flowers were finally starting to appear, scattered among the hillsides between fir forests en route to McBride Lake. The weather was beautiful, but with a dabble of rain drops here and there (apparent in the audio for sure). The slight breeze surely made shooting flowers a challenge!

Gee! Them flowers is purty! Is that the Ponderosa?
You’re off to a great start Mark One! Love the sounds and the starburst effect! Great lighting too!
Now I understand the sound effects! It really brings even more life to the image.
Well, not sure how to follow up that emotional comments from my little Brother. What Mark failed to tell you was, that I flew the coop and followed my nose and around the globe from the Navy until I finally landed in my paradise of Naples, FL. So, we didn’t see each other much in the last 40, yes, 40 years. I have been in awe of Mark’s imagery for many years. For him to give me any credit at all, is very humbling. Judy and I were more concerned about being “novices” on a trip with so many professionals and holding up the momentum, but after meeting everyone and seeing Mark and Carl’s preparation and expertise, put us at ease quickly. It was an awesome experience for Judy and me and getting to spend that kind of time with my brother was priceless.
